Druecker, Landon James

Landon James Druecker, 7-month-old son of Bryan and Jennifer (Foels) Druecker, died Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, following a 3-month battle with a brain tumor. He was born May 20, 2010, in Guttenberg, and was baptized on Dec. 30, 2010.

Besides his parents, Landon is survived by his sister, Caitlyn, at home; his paternal grandparents, Ron and Diane Druecker of Elkader; maternal grandparents, Ron and Donna Foels of Elkader; aunts, Kristin (Mace) Klingman of Strawberry Point, Amy Foels of Elkader and Tara Foels of North Liberty; and cousins, Parker and Keaton Klingman.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, at St. Sebald Lutheran Church, rural Strawberry Point, with the Rev. Lin Reichstadter officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. today at Leonard Funeral Home in Elkader and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the University of Iowa Dance Marathon or Children's Hospital.
