Church a good spot for Mission to expand

I was a member of First Christian Church for 64 years. I worked at J.C. Penney in my teens and worked with Irene McLeod, who encouraged me to join the church choir.
Now comes a March 1 article about Mission of Hope needing more space. The church would be ideal for such a project. There is a shower upstairs, there is a kitchen downstairs.
I might add that my son and daughter were married there, as well as a grandson and granddaughter. My husband, Donald, had his funeral there. This church building means a lot to me.
What a shame if it is demolished.
