Free choice available to everyone

The free choice people are on the defensive. We are not forcing our standards onto everyone else. Even if we had laws to allow doctor assisted deliverance/ending to those who want out of their old age and suffering and the right to use birth control and contraceptives and free choice in using or not using a seat belt, the religious extremists would still have free choice to use or not use any of the above. Then nobody's standards would intrude on anyone else's.
But the religious extremists are the offensive ones. They want anti free-choice laws. They want everyone else to comply to their religious standards. They don't want a constitutional republic but they want a religious theocracy.
If the free-choice people would get laws enacted to force everyone to get doctor-assisted deliverance/ending when they get old and ill and force everyone to use birth control and contraceptive and force everyone to go without a seat belt, only then the religious extremists would have something to go crazy about.
The religious extremists are afraid the majority will go the free-choice route and the religious extremists will be left in a minority being different/odd. They want everyone else uniform with them.
