How about being thankful of God’s work?
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Jul. 9, 2012 1:11 pm
As I go about my daily routine, I think of how many times I forget to thank God for creation - how beautiful the earth is and how wonderful the people are who live in it? We are all so very blessed. God has given us the most precious gift of creation, and in return, He receives very little.
So, I challenge you all reading this, whether you believe in God or not, to hold back your criticism of others today, to not talk back to a parent, teacher or friend, and to not ignore the stranger you walk by in the store. Instead, I ask you to offer up a prayer of thanks for that person or those people. Because each person is necessary and loved by God, whether they know it or not. No one person should be forgotten, abused, or unloved.
