Streetscape project benefits drivers

Thank you to the Cedar Rapids Public Works Department for the recent upgrade of the Diagonal Drive/Eighth Avenue SW bridge streetscape area.
Manhole covers are flush with the top of the street, wheelchair-accessible curb cuts were created, line-of-sight was improved to see traffic coming from Eighth Avenue, and clear pavement markings help motorists know where to go.
