Stimson, Charles
Charles Stimson, 81, of Waterloo, formerly Manchester and Earlville, died Saturday, July 31, 2010, at his residence in Waterloo. Funeral service: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester, with the Rev. Jill Mack officiating. Interment: 1:30 p.m., Garden of Memories, Waterloo. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his longtime special friend, Delores Ott of Waterloo; his three children, Joan (Dave) Nason of Iowa City, and Gene Stimson and Judy (Mark) Helmrichs, all of Earlville; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four siblings, Frances (Dean) Carradus of Sycamore, Ill., Fern Clang of Crawfordsville, Dean (Norma) Stimson of Decatur, Ill., and Grace (Dale) Crippen of Manchester.
