RuffaloCODY expanding to United Kingdom

RuffaloCODY is expanding into the United Kingdom with the acquisition of a privately owned fundraising firm known for its consulting expertise in regular giving.
Buffalo Fundraising Consultants of Bristol, England employs about 20 people. It will operate as a division of Cedar Rapids-based RuffaloCODY, an enrollment management and fundraising services provider,
With the addition of Buffalo Fundraising Consultants, RuffaloCODY President and CEO Duane Jasper said his company expands its geographical reach beyond North America, Australia and Singapore by adding to its existing client base in the United Kingdom.
'The team at Buffalo Fundraising Consultants brings a unique understanding and strong knowledge of fundraising in the United Kingdom,” Jasper said. 'While considering a partner in the UK, our analysis revealed Buffalo to be the best fit - in terms of values, people and services - for our goals and mission.
In a news release announcing the transaction, Edward Lang, managing director of Buffalo Fundraising Consultants, said his company is excited to join RuffaloCODY.
'We look forward to sharing ideas, particularly within regular or annual giving,” Lang said. 'RuffaloCODY will help expand and develop the services we can provide our clients.”
Buffalo Fundraising Consultants will continue to provide regular or annual consulting to its clients in the areas of education, arts, health and sports.
RuffaloCODY, founded in 1991 and expanding rapidly in recent years, serves about 1,000 institutions of higher education and non-profit organizations around the globe. The company is preparing to move into a 91,831-square-foot corporate headquarters under construction southeast of the Kirkwood Community College campus.
