Good Friday closings

Many area offices and services will be operating on reduced schedules for Good Friday:

Cedar Rapids

• City Hall will be closed.

• Linn County offices will be open.

• Parking meters and ramps will not be enforced.

• Trash will be collected

• Landfills in Linn County will be open.

• The Cedar Rapids Public Library will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Westdale location, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. downtown.

• City buses will run routine.

Marion

• Trash will be collected.

• The Marion Public Library will be closed.

Hiawatha

• The Hiawatha Public Library will be closed.

• Hiawatha City Hall will be closed.

Iowa City

• City administrative offices at City Hall will be open normal hours.

• Iowa City Transit will run as scheduled.

• Parking meters and ramps will be enforced.

• The Iowa City Public Library will be open normal hours

• The Iowa City/Johnson County Senior Center will be open normal hours. Senior dining will be served.

• The Robert A. Lee Community Recreation Center's offices will be open normal hours.

• The landfill will be open normal hours.

• Refuse, recycling and yard waste will be open normal hours.

• The Iowa City Animal Care and Adoption Center will be open normal hours.

Coralville

• Coralville City Hall, city departments and Police Administration will be open normal hours.

• The Coralville Recreation Center will be open normal hours.

• The Coralville Public Library will be open normal hours.

• Coralville Transit will be run as scheduled.

• Garbage and recycling will be collected.

State

• State courts and offices will be taking a furlough day.

• DOT driver's license stations will be open normal hours.

• Iowa Workforce Development Center offices will be open normal hours.

Federal

• Cedar Rapids area post office retail and administrative offices will be open.

• Federal courts will be open.
