Orris, Tommy Lee
Tommy Lee Orris, 71, of Swisher, died Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at Grandview Nursing Home, Oelwein. There will be no services. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his wife, Frances; and his sister, Darcy Sparks of Phoenix, Ariz.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents.
Born Aug. 15, 1940, in Independence, Iowa, Tom was the son of Opal and Ruth (Shannon) Orris. On Aug. 29, 1964, he was united in marriage to Frances Shields. Tom worked for the Duo Fast Corporation in sales.
Tom enjoyed cars, especially Studebakers, gardening, cats and cooking.
Memorials may be directed in Tom's memory to the Humane Society.
