Sullivan, Nancy Anne

Nancy Anne Sullivan, 54, of 316 Jacolyn Dr. SW, died Friday, June 17, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center. Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, by the Rev. Ivan Nienhaus. Inurnment: St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may visit Tuesday after 9:30 a.m. at the church. Teahen Funeral Home is serving the family.

Nancy was born Nov. 6, 1956, in Sheboygan, Wis., the daughter of Raymond and Mary (Gottschalk) Sullivan. Nancy was a graduate of Jefferson High School. She had been employed for many years by Goodwill of the Heartland.

Nancy is survived by a brother, Michael of Cedar Rapids; three sisters, Maureen (Daniel) St. John of Irvine, Calif., and Patricia and Bridget Sullivan, both of Cedar Rapids; and nieces and nephews, Stephanie (Nick) Jelinck, Matthew Sullivan, Krista Heinitz, Jake Heinitz and Nathan Sullivan-Helm.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Kathleen.

Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family and meeting new people. She was known as a happy and very giving person with a dry wit of humor and a great memory for numerous classic rock tunes and lyrics.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Goodwill of the Heartland, 1441 Blairs Ferry Rd. NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402-1227.
