Obama no protector of life on abortion

President Barack Obama's health care compromise was to issue an executive order “ensuring that federal funds are not used for abortion services.” An executive order is a legal “add on” that can supersede, amend, terminate, revoke or proclaim any presidential ideal without congressional approval.
Are we so desperate for financial rescue of any sort that we are willing to sell our souls at the whim of this or any future president?
Obama has made 46 executive orders since 2009. In January 2009, Obama rescinded the “Mexico City Rule” barring the United States from giving financial aid outside the country to family planning groups that perform or promote abortions.
In February 2009, he considered the “Conscience Rule” that protected doctors, nurses and pharmacists from disciplinary action or firing if refusing to participate in abortion procedures while on the job. In March 2009, he removed barriers to stem cell research, an abortion-related right-to-live issue.
Most conservatives, although horrified by abortion, will make a concession, even using tax dollars, for abortions in the case of rape, incest or a life-threatening condition. These constitute only 7 percent of the 3,000-plus daily abortions performed for “social reasons,” according to Planned Parenthood.
Making an executive order, Obama makes only a feeble attempt to quell this bill's opposition by providing a wavering cover-up to his pro-abortion stance. Given Obama's position on abortion (www.
ontheissues.org/Barack_obama.htm), this order only sends a wolf to guard the sheep.
