Letter: Thank your transit driver today

Today (Friday, March 18) is Transit Driver Appreciation Day.
As a current transit passenger, I am grateful for this service in Cedar Rapids. The transit system provides a vital service to the citizens of Cedar Rapids, Hiawatha and Marion.
Has a transit driver helped you get a job, given you some really great advice, or stopped and waited for you if you were running to the bus? Take the time to thank them. Perhaps you could thank them with a snack, a card or flowers.
