Wisconsin teacher: “Remember, it's wrong to lie. Honesty really is the best policy.” Student: “Do you have one of those phony sick notes?”
Wisconsin teacher: “Yes I do, but I didn't ask for a sick note, it was offered to me and I just took it.” Student: “So, if you didn't lie, the person who offered the note lied.”
Wisconsin teacher: “No, for all that person knew, I really was sick.”Student: “So the sick note was phony, but nobody lied?”
Wisconsin teacher: “That is correct.” Student: “Teacher, I think you missed your calling. You should be in Congress.”
Wisconsin teacher: “Power to the people! Class dismissed.”
