Letter: Area streets in need of fresh paint

The streets of Cedar Rapids and surrounding cities are going unmarked.
In years past, during the warmer months the cities would be out marking lanes on streets and crosswalks with fresh paint. Now you have to guess where the traffic lane is. Bikes have better marking on our streets than cars.
I think it is time to spend some of that money from our taxes on paint, fewer sidewalks. I can't remember the last time all of the streets had the lanes painted on them.
