Night of Arts for Autism scheduled in Cedar Falls

Non-profit Champions of Autism & ADHD is presenting “A Night of Arts for Autism,” – a benefit concert on Thursday, May 10, 2012 in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
This will be a unique evening of entertainment showcasing the explosive energy of talented musicians, dancers and artists – in support of Champions of Autism & ADHD. The stage will take on the ambiance of a jazz club with selections by professional performers, as well as children both on and off the Autism Spectrum. The pre-reception will feature a silent auction, including a range of artwork and other packages.

7:00 – 8:30 - Performance concert
8:30 - Reception with dessert from Scratch Cupcakery

Concert producer Celeste Bembry is an alumna of the University of Northern Iowa's School of Music and will be performing as a vocalist.
Master of Ceremonies, Gary Kroeger, is a Cedar Falls native and a former cast member on NBC's Saturday Night Live.

Funds raised help support the grassroots efforts of Champions of Autism & ADHD's mission to connect families, caregivers, educators and the community with education, information and resources that will help improve the quality of life for those living with Autism and ADHD. Champions will soon be opening an Autism Champs Center in Waterloo that will be a learning and training center for families, educators and caregivers.
