MINNEAPOLIS -- Former Iowa Hawkeye Kachine Alexander was waived by the WNBA's Minnesota Lynx on Friday.
That means Alexander is a free agent and can be signed by another franchise.
Alexander played in one preseason game, getting 7 minutes of playing time in a 71-66 win over the Indiana Fever. She scored two points and had a pair of steals.
