Two-year forward Ben Lynch has gotten off to a two-goal, one-assist start in six games this season for the USHL's Lincoln Stars. He's also a minus-5.
Lynch, 20, was traded to Lincoln before the season started. He had 12 goals in 59 games for Cedar Rapids last season and 10 goals in 59 games in the 2007-08 season.
"I talked to coach (Jim McGroarty) when I came, and he said I'd start out on the power play and penalty kill, and from there just work to earn my spot like everybody else," Lynch told the Lincoln Journal-Star "It's been awesome coming here. This is the best environment to play in the league. Even in Cedar Rapids, we'd always look on the schedule to see when we were playing in Lincoln because it's unbelievable."
