Clark, LoRee M.
LoRee M. Clark, 96, of Northbrook Manor, Cedar Rapids, died there on Monday, Oct. 17, 2011, after a long illness. Services at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Burial at the Oakwood Cemetery in Monticello. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Survivors include her son, Harold of Hiawatha; four grandchildren, Brian, Jennifer, Richard and Russell; four great-grandchildren, Nathan, Jason, Lisa and Allison; and one great-great-grandchild. Noah.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Dale; two brothers, Donald and Paul; and one sister, Grace.
LoRee was born on Aug. 6, 1915, in Hopkinton, the daughter of Newell and Hazel Hogg Gillilan. She married Dale S. Clark in Galena, Ill. He died in 1962. LoRee worked Armstrong's Department Store and later at Me Too Grocery Store, where she retired after many years of service.
LoRee enjoyed quilting and especially the time she spent with her beloved family and friends.
Memorial donations may be given to St. Lukes Hospice.
