RALPH L. SEAGREN
North Liberty
Ralph L. Seagren, 76, of North Liberty, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, July 25, 2016, following many years of living with renal disease, cancer and arthritis. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, Iowa City. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 1, at the funeral home. Following the service there will be a time of fellowship at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 2050 12th Ave., Coralville. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Janesville, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Iowa City Hospice, Tabernacle Baptist Church or the Ralph Seagren Memorial Fund for his granddaughters' education.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Jane; daughter, Laura Lynn Seagren of North Liberty; two granddaughters, Dominique and Carver Seagren; brother, Alan (Kay) Seagren of Iowa City; special grandson, Xavier; and his mother, Tegan Thompson of Iowa City; special cousin, Vivian Creswell of Omaha, Neb.; and nieces and nephews, Kim and Scott and their families.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert.
