Terpstra, Ruth E.
Ruth E. Terpstra, 79, of Hiawatha, formerly of Lynnville, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011, at the Hiawatha Health Care Center. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, at the Friends Church in Lynnville. Burial will be in the Woodland Cemetery in Lynnville. Visitation will be held from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell, with the family present from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Lynnville Community United Fund, in care of the First State Bank in Lynnville.
Survivors include four sons, Douglas Terpstra of Eau Claire, Wis., Mark Terpstra of Perry, Steven Terpstra of Cedar Rapids, and Neal Terpstra of Naperville, Ill.; one sister, Linda Kay Westercamp of Des Moines; and six grandchildren, Scott, Jennifer, Michael, Laura, Morgan and Holden Terpstra.
