Irene Teresa Eimen, 84, died peacefully Sunday, May 9, 2021, at the Bird House Hospice Home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at
10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May
12, at St. Wenceslaus Church, with Father Gary Beckman officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, Iowa City. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Camp Courageous, St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Irene was born Dec. 6, 1936, in Iowa City, the daughter of John and Margaret (Mount) Haman. She was a graduate of St. Mary's High School and then received her LPN in nursing. On July 19, 1958, Irene married Clifford Eimen in Iowa City.
Irene and Clifford farmed west of Williamsburg from 1973 to 2010, when they moved to Tiffin. Irene was an LPN at Towncrest OB GYN for many years.
Irene was a member of St. Wenceslaus Church, the Red Hat Society and volunteered with the Hospice of Iowa County.
Irene is survived by her daughter, Mary Zimmerman of Coralville and her grandson, Jacob English of Tiffin; and nieces and nephews, Katy Reiling and Family, Jennifer Montgomery and Family, and John Knopick and Family.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clifford; her brothers, John and James (infant); and her sister, Jane Knopick.
