If you're looking for lower gas prices, look no further. E15 has returned to the Cedar Rapids area, it's available at more stations than ever before, and it's great news for your wallet.
E15, a fuel blend containing 15 percent ethanol, is often priced at a 5- to 10-cent per gallon discount to the most commonly used fuel in the U.S., 87-octane E10, and motorists achieve virtually the same fuel economy with E15.
As long as you drive a 2001 or newer vehicle you can take advantage of this cleaner-burning, higher octane fuel. E15 is available at nearly 70 stations in Iowa, including nine in the Cedar Rapids area.
However, saving money isn't the only reason to choose E15. Supporting E15 means supporting Iowa jobs, boosting state's economy and enhancing air quality.
Motorists around the nation have traveled hundreds of millions of trouble-free miles on E15 and you could be next to reap the benefits. Visit www.IowaRFA.org for a full list of stations offering E15 in Iowa.
The advantages of E15 are clear: save money, same mileage and superior performance. Be sure to choose E15 so you don't miss out.
