Police are continuing to investigate the murder of Kevin Bell, police Sgt. Cristy Hamblin said on Monday.
At the time that Bell, 26, was shot in an apartment of 113 First Ave. SW on Jan. 11, police were seeking three suspects.
Denem Anthony Null, 16, was arrested Friday and charged Saturday with first-degree murder in the shooting of Bell, who died Jan. 12 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Null is being held at the Linn County Juvenile Detention Center on $1 million cash bail.
At the time of the shooting, police also were seeking an 18-year-old dark-skinned, heavy-set black male with round cheeks who's about 5 feet 5 inches tall; and a light-skinned black male between 18 and 19, with no additional description.
