Letter: Republican conservatives must unite

Is it ego, pride, selfishness or what that has sent some Republican presidential candidates for the jugular, naming others as incompetent? Debates coming to slug fests? What platforms counteract the Democratic Party sins? Will the candidates snarling the loudest be nominated or will common sense prevail?
Ben Carson and Ted Cruz, to some extent, have continued with civility stating their stand against the evils threatening our nation. Loyal Republican conservatives must stand together supporting the U.S. Constitution, and each other, expounding platforms for the voters.
