RoughRiders name Gareau team captain

The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders have named Dylan Gareau team captain, head coach Mark Carlson said Tuesday night. Assistant captain is Corey Petrash.
Gareau, 19, is in his third season with the Riders. The Richmond, Ontario, resident is a Clarkson University commitment.
Petrash, 18, is a second-year RoughRiders. From East St. Paul, Manitoba, he is a Bemidji State commitment.
The RoughRiders play a unique 10:30 a.m. (9:30 Iowa time) game Wednesday against the Muskegon Lumberjacks in Michigan. They then play a home-and-home weekend series against the Des Moines Buccaneeers: Friday night at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena and Saturday night at Urbandale.
Cedar Rapids is 7-1-1 for 15 points. That includes 5-0-1 on the road, the lone team in the United States Hockey League yet to lose in regulation away from home.
