Oswald, Vernon L.
Vernon L. Oswald, 82, of Dubuque, died July 11, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids, with a service beginning at 11 a.m. The Rev. Beth Mary Harbaugh of St. James United Methodist Church will officiate. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, at Linwood Cemetery, Dubuque.
Surviving are his sister, Mary Franta of Cedar Rapids; his brother, Melvin M. Oswald of Dubuque; and his nieces and nephews, Janet (Doug) Schwandt, Joyce Franta, Judith Franta, James Franta Jr., Joel Franta and Juanita (Jeff) Kipp.
