Reth, Nida E.
Nida E. Reth, 99, of Farley, formerly of Delhi, passed away peacefully Friday, May 11, 2012, at Mercy Hospital in Dyersville. Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Friday, May 18, at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Asbury. Visitation: 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 17, at Clifton-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Earlville, and one hour before services Friday at the church. Graveside service: 2 p.m. in the Fairview Cemetery, Earlville.
Nida is survived by her daughter, Janet (Grayden) Grimm of Farley; a son, David (Barb) Reth of Delhi; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one sister, Marilyn Overman of Bettendorf; four stepgrandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Nida was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Anton; two daughters, Ellene Lois on Aug. 31, 1955, and Joan Lorraine on Oct. 14, 1944; and five brothers and sisters.
