Wessels, Carol A.
Carol A. Wessels, 77, of Independence, died Sunday morning, Feb. 5, 2012, at her home. Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory, Independence, with Sharon Bainbridge officiating. Friends may call from 3 p.m. to service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
She is survived by her husband, Dave Wessels, Independence; six children, Dawn (Doug Davidson) Wessels, Evansdale, Julie (Kevin Lange) Wessels, Waterloo, Bruce (Cindy) Wessels, Independence, Brian Wessels, Independence, John Wessels, Independence, and James Wessels, Manchester; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joan Sloan, Sun Lake, Ariz., and Phyllis March, Dyersville; and a brother, Steve Christoph, Waterloo.
