Private enterprise is full of its own faults
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Nov. 11, 2009 11:31 pm
Opponents of a public option in health insurance reform scream “socialism.” Do they really think private enterprise is the solution?
Remember, it was private enterprise that gave us Enron, WorldCom, Bernie Madoff, the incompetence of GM and Chrysler, the corruption of Wall Street, big banks, and AIG. They destroyed our economy, yet Republicans still want to put our lives and health (and economic future) in the very hands of those who have already stolen billions from us? Are they serious?
