Liz Bennett is running for the Democratic nomination for Iowa House District 65. I am her campaign manager and I'm requesting voters support her in the primary.
After Tyler Olson announced he wasn't running for re-election to the Iowa House, many state and local Democratic leaders urged Bennett to run for Olson's House seat. In July 2013, after she accepted the challenge, she set out to learn as much as possible about the issues and concerns of residents in the district.
In that effort, she met with community leaders, attended countless neighborhood events and meetings to learn what issues and concerns are most important to district residents. She has tirelessly door knocked in an effort to meet as many voters as possible. She would take the same passion and drive she has shown throughout the campaign with her to Des Moines.
To find out more about where she stands on important issues, visit her website at lizforiowa.com.
