Truck slides into train near Homestead
Road conditions likely played a role in a pick-up crashing into a moving train this afternoon.
The truck skidded into the train on the Johnson-Iowa Road near Homestead. The Iowa State Patrol says the driver couldn't stop in time on the icy road.
The Oxford man driving the truck was airlifted to the hospital. His name and condition have not been released.
