Obamacare offers many benefits

To the editor:
After reading an article about the benefits of expanded Medicaid under Obamacare, the study shows that the Republican states not expanding Medicaid 'of course because it was part of Obamacare” had less early diagnosis of diabetes and other diseases. People wouldn't see a doctor for problems therefore would not get an early diagnosis.
Next step they (Republicans) want is to end Obamacare entirely. They don't care if people have medical coverage or the medicine to keep them well. Looks like sure death to me. That is followed by the 'Donut Hole” problem. Also people with catastrophic or chronic diseases reaching a cap, being kicked off insurance and not being accepted by another company because of pre-existing conditions.
Obamacare is new with a few small issues, but as time goes by these will iron out, too, just like Medicare and Social Security. By the way, Republicans didn't want these either.
Another issue is when something happens in Third World countries the first thing is Republicans talk 'boots on the ground.” Higher body counts sounds like a death panel to me.
