Allison R. Pratt, 91, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014. A Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, where a visitation will begin at 9 a.m. The Rev. Dennis H. Calhill will officiate.
Private inurnment at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Dorothy J. Pratt; and three nieces.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Calvin Pratt.
Allison was born Aug. 27, 1922, in Manchester, Iowa, the son of Ray and Alta (Curtis) Pratt. He married Dorothy J. Wood on Sept. 10, 1951, in Walker. Allison was a carpenter. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the American Legion. He enjoyed golf, fishing and had served in the Army during World War II.
