MARION -- University of Iowa Community Credit Union has begun the construction process on its third Linn County location. The new location will be constructed on the northwest corner of Highway 100 and East Post Road.
“Our Westdale and Hiawatha locations have far exceeded expectations,” commented President and CEO Jeff Disterhoft. “Due to the success we've seen in the market, our Board of Directors and Management were unanimous in the decision to move up the construction of the Marion location.”
The new full service office will be approximately 5,800 square feet. There will be two teller drive up lanes and a third for 24/7 ATM traffic.
Staff will handle member transactions, new accounts, mortgage lending, and investment services. Since UICCU is a community chartered credit union, anyone living or working in the area can join and receive the benefits of membership.
“Marion is a vibrant community,” commented Disterhoft. “We are very excited to play an active role in its growth and prosperity.”
University of Iowa Community Credit Union was formed in 1938 and serves 92,000 members with 10 office locations in Eastern Iowa. The $1.5 billion asset credit union has been consistently recognized as the top credit union in the nation for returning profits back to its members in the form of better rates on loans and deposits (
