Sleep, Guy Luther
Guy Luther Sleep, 82, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Friday, March 2, 2012, at his home.
He was born on Feb. 14, 1930, in rural Taylor County, Iowa, to Harley Aden Sleep and Mabel (Parker) Sleep. He and his wife moved to Bella Vista, Ark., in 2000 from Anamosa, Iowa. He was a member of the Bella Vista Community Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Margaret Young.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma Sleep of Bella Vista, Ark.; four sons, Robert Sleep and wife Kathy of Joplin, Mo., Ronald Sleep and wife Peggy of Long Grove, Randall Sleep and wife Carol of Langworthy, and Jerry Sleep and wife Joy of Ava, Mo.; one daughter, Kathy Francois and husband Patrick of Solon; 20 grandchildren' and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 5, at the Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark., with the Rev. Dr. Anna Teel and Hospice Chaplain Chuck Bengtson officiating. Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Rd., Springdale, AR 72762; or Bella Vista Community Church.
