Larry Rutt, 81, died Monday, Dec. 14, 2020, at his home in Iowa City surrounded by family. A celebration of Larry's life will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 13, at The Park Lodge at Terry Trueblood Recreation Area, 579 McCollister Blvd., Iowa City, IA 52240. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Iowa City Hospice.
Survivors include his son, Greg Rutt (Deb Cox) of North Liberty, Iowa; daughters, Kristen Rutt (Eddie McKinley) of Iowa City, Lisa Murphy (Craig) of Washington, Iowa, and Kathy Rutt (Jeff Davis) of Iowa City; brother, Lavon Rutt (Nancy) of Iowa City; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, James "Skip" (Myrna) Sherlock of Iowa City; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
