Wiese, John M.
John M. Wiese, 63, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012. Private family memorial services will be held Friday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Survivor include his wife, Rita; a son, Michael, and a daughter, Michelle, both of Cedar Rapids; and a brother, William of St. Louis, Mo.
John was born Sept. 21, 1948, in Texas City, Texas, the son of William and Mary (Chambers) Wiese. He married Rita M. Vislisel on Jan. 16, 1971, in Cedar Rapids. John was a correctional counselor for the state of Iowa for over 30 years.
John was a wonderful husband and father who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
