Weinacht takes action on needs

I want to take this opportunity to endorse Susie Weinacht in her run for an at-large seat on the Cedar Rapids City Council. I am well aware of demands this position places on an individual and have no doubt that Weinacht is capable and ready to meet them in a manner that will benefit the residents she will be representing.

susie4cr.org) speaks for itself, whether assisting flood victims recovering from personal tragedy to working in support of all parents and children in PTA efforts. She has been at the forefront in ensuring action on a wide variety of efforts taking place all with clear-cut goals. She is strongly supporting efforts to enhance neighborhood organizations and improve the community in all city quadrants. She is acutely aware of the dire need to improve the streets and infrastructure in the city and will work to ensure solutions are found and put into effect.

Most important, she has a demonstrated reputation of an individual who doesn't just talk about what needs to be done, she takes action to make it happen. She has my vote and I am confident when elected she will listen to and work for all of the residents of the city.
