Burrows, Joan
Joan Burrows, 89, of Belle Plaine, died Monday, July 8, 2013, at the Belle Plaine Nursing and Rehab Center following a short illness. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13, at First Congregational United Church of Christ, by Pastor Dennis Eastin. Inurnment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation is one hour before the service at the church.
She is survived by a niece, Kristi (David) Schultz of Madison, Wis.; nephew, Jim Burrows of Lake Sebring, Fla.; sister-in-law, Catherine Burrows of Belle Plaine; two great-nieces; one great-nephew; three great-great-nieces; and one great-great-nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, R.O. and Bessie Shurtleff Burrows; and a brother, R.O. (Bob) Burrows Jr.
A memorial fund has been established.
Hrabak Funeral Home is serving the family.
