NEW HIRES

Vickie Pasicznyuk (see photo) is the new Children's Services coordinator at the Iowa City Public Library.

James Seifert (see photo) was named resident director of Merrill Lynch's Cedar Rapids office. Seifert is a graduate of the University of Iowa.

Arenson & Maas PLC has hired Rebecca Feiereisen (see photo) as an associate attorney. Feiereisen, who practices primarily family law, is returning to Cedar Rapids after practicing law in Waterloo for over four years.

APPOINTMENTS

The Linn County Public Health Department has named Pramod Dwivedi as its new director. He most recently served as chief of epidemiology at the Shelby County Health Department in Memphis, Tenn.

BOARD MEMBERS

George Grask of Cedar Rapids Truck Co. was elected treasurer of Iowa Automobile Dealers Association at the spring board and annual meeting of the association. In addition to his chairmanship of the American Truck Division, Grask also served as chairman of IADA in 2010.

Jeff Sheetz has been named president and CEO of the board of directors of Health Solutions in Hiawatha. He replaces Sam Houston, who will continue to develop the strategic growth of the business.

AWARDS

Donna E. Mooney (see photo) received the 2012 All American Award from Farm Bureau Financial Services. This is the sixth time that Mooney, an agent for 35 years with Farm Bureau Financial Services, has been recognized with this honor.

Leslie Finger received the Iowa Association of School Business Officials Professional Leadership Award. He has served as director of business services in the Iowa City Community School District for 18 years.

CERTIFICATION

Gale Mote (see photo), professional trainer and organizational development consultant with Gale Mote Associates, has earned the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance credential from the American Society for Training & Development Certification Institute.
