Scheffert, Jerry Dean
Jerry Dean Scheffert, 68, of Prairie du Chien, Wis., formerly of Monona, died Oct. 7, 2009, at home. Burial: today at Illyria Cemetery, rural Elgin. Visitation: 1 to 3 p.m. today at Leonard Funeral Home in Monona.
Jerry served in the Marines. He was a Vigortone Feed salesman and later started his own company, New Concepts Pre-Mix Co., based out of Decorah. He worked for Junge Ford in Center Point and Bob Mickey in Cedar Rapids and was currently working for a dealership in Wisconsin.
He will be missed by friends and family.
