U.S. Cellular readying 4G LTE service in Cedar Rapids, Iowa City

U.S. Cellular plans the initial rollout of 4G LTE service in three Iowa markets, including Cedar Rapids, during the first quarter of 2012.
The cellular provider has built out a 4G LTE (long-term evolution) network in conjunction with the King Street Wireless partnership, and is testing 4G LTE devices in advance of activating the network, the company said in a recent statement.
