Iowa City homes sales rise in October
More Iowa City homes were sold last month than in October 2010, but the average and median sale prices were lower.
Data provided by the Iowa City Area Association of Realtors shows 157 homes were sold in October, up from 127 in October 2010. The average sale price was $170,627 last month, down from $191,442 in October 2010, and the median price was $154,900, compared with $175,000 in 2010.
