“He's a very dynamic player,” Compuware Coach Derek Szajner told The Hockey News. “He sees the ice well and he's explosive on his skates. He skates one speed: full-out.
"He's a playmaker. A constant threat when he has the puck. He can stickhandle in a phone booth.”
The four other RoughRiders' Futures picks were second-rounder Jacob Downing (defenseman, Detroit Catholic Central High School), third-rounder Jared Linnell (forward, Alaska All-Stars), fourth-rounder Kevin Venturoso (goaltender, Bridgewater Bandits Empire) and fifth-rounder Torey Willsey (defenseman, Chicago Mission AAA).
