Letter: Vote against reducing signatures for petitions

Iowa City, Vote No on a public measure to lower number of petition signatures needed to get items on the ballot.
Currently, 25 percent of voters from the last city election, or at least 3,600, are needed to do so.
A vote yes would change that number to 10 percent or at least 10 people to get any petition on the ballot.
