Police said a man was stabbed during an altercation Monday evening in a southwest Cedar Rapids parking lot.
Officers responded around 10:20 p.m. to the 4000 block of 20th Avenue SW, where they found the victim. Lt. Kenneth Washburn said the man was stabbed in the abdomen and was transported to a local hospital.
Washburn said the man's injuries are not considered life threatening.
An interpreter was being used to get more details about who committed the crime, because the victim did not speak English, police said. No arrests have been made.
