Details on Iowa's Black & Gold Blowout

The University of Iowa announced plans for its Black & Gold Blowout, which takes place at 8 p.m. Oct. 19 at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. It is the first public showing of the men's and women's basketball programs.

Tickets to the event, which go on sale on Monday at the UI Ticket Office, are $5 for adults and free for UI students and youth 18-and-under. All seating is general admission.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early with doors opening at 7 p.m. There will be a number of prizes awarded to fans who arrive early and both teams will sign autographs at the end of the event.
