Make God part of the equation

To the editor:
Recently, on the cover of the New York Daily News the headline read 'God Isn't Fixing This.” This was right after a terrorist attack in San Bernardino, Calif. Of course God is not fixing this. In order for God to fix this he needs to be made part of the equation. Democrats and liberals have removed God from our schools and removed the Ten Commandments from our courts. They have made God to be politically incorrect.
While God may be in the hearts and minds of most Americans, we are scorned and ridiculed for professing our belief and in some cases murdered for it. God's love and peace is supposed to be openly shared. God's love and peace is not just found hiding under a rock or tucked away on a shelf. To get this love and peace it has to be shared with you, and this is done by casual contact with someone who already has it.
If you are looking for this love and peace, the Christmas season is a great time to catch it. While I don't stand on the corner holding a sign I do say 'merry Christmas” (not happy holidays) and when asked about my good fortunes I don't hesitate to give God credit for granting me wisdom and strength. Bottom line is this. If we want God to 'fix this,” whatever this may be, God has to be part of the equation.
Merry Christmas and may you catch and share God's love and peace.
