Stirniman, James P.
James P. Stirniman, 87, of Joliet, Ill., passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013. He was buried in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Ill.
He was born April 16, 1925, in Sacramento, Calif., to the late Madge (nee Ryan) and Edward Stirniman. He graduated from Brooklyn High School, Brooklyn, Iowa. He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. On Sept. 1, 1947, he married Wanda R. Keller.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years; nine children; numerous grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; one brother, John (Margaret) Stirniman; and one sister, Jane Stirniman.
