Lawmakers, put country first or step down

You know the drill: The Democrats propose a bill and the Republicans fight it tooth and nail. It's starting to seem like the Democrats are just introducing all of this legislation just to rub it in the faces of the Republicans, and that the Republicans are opposing it just because the Democrats proposed it.
Isn't it possible to put our petty differences aside and work toward a better America? Stop worrying about who knows all of the answers and which party is better and just get along. All of the bickering is starting to rub some Americans the wrong way.
Congressmen: If you can't get along for the good of the country, step down and let a grown-up take your spot.
